Ubiclear

Video is not yet available, as soon as it is online on the customer's site the video will be visible.

This product video is about Ubiclear, a chemical that renders biological tissue transparent for taking better microscopic images of large tissue volumes, entire animals or organs.

I did this video for the SPPIN (Saints-Pères Paris Institute for the Neurosciences), a French public CNRS research laboratory that wanted to showcase its invention. The video features the two inventors, interspersed with scenes from the lab and realization examples of cleared biological samples.

The main advantage of Ubiclear over competitors is that it is fast and indiscriminately clears almost any sample, two features that inspired my editing.

I tried to make the "serious" science theme a bit lighter by filming with two cameras allowing different perspectives, and by using rapids cuts when showcasing the examples.
